Rolo the dachshund is recovering from a sprained tail after the thrill of having his family home all day during the COVID-19 pandemic left him wagging until he couldn’t wag anymore. Rolo’s veterinarian diagnosed him with Happy Tail Syndrome (HTS), though he is not the first case study on HTS - dogs with thick powerful tails have been known to fall victim to the syndrome when overly excited.

We don’t want to see any pup in pain, but HTS is the cutest injury we’ve ever heard of.
