DOGFLUENCERS: Meet Adonis, The Small Pup With Big Energy

Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.

Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.

Today we got the honor of interviewing Han (Adonis's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Conway: To be honest, I started an Instagram for him because I was sharing pictures of him so much on my personal page. He is our first puppy and I just wanted to document his sweet little life. In the blink of an eye, we became a small content creator (turns out, the internet LOVES spunky small puppies)! The more his personality unfolds, the more he shows his main character energy. I always say, "it's Adonis' world, we're just living in it".

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Conway: There are so many things... where do I start? His eyes. Adonis' eyes are insane - his dark pupils, haloed by a dusty blue then a light green. Who could resist 'awwww'ing at those eyes?!

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Conway: Adonis and I go on adventures often. Whether that be at the beach, a hike, a trip to get a pup cup, or leash-training at Home Depot. All of these adventures are great opportunities to document for content! He is also an ambassador for several brands so I dress him up often in their products. We love all the products we're lucky enough to rep, plus he is so cute with his little accessories, of course I must make a post about it!

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Conway: Thankfully we haven't dealt with anything super challenging or disheartening!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Conway: Just do it and don't give up! The pet community is hands-down the best community on social media. Post at least once a day, keep your content clean and un-cluttered, and ENGAGE with your followers! Think of it as a place to make friends!

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Conway: He's helped me learn so much patience and selflessness. He really is like a human child. You don't realize how selfish you can be until you have to take care of something/someone else. While I teach him tricks for treats, he teaches me about life. The love, snuggles, and laughs I get from him make my life more whole. I can't imagine life without my little buddy.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Conway: There are many moments but the most recent one happened just two days ago. We were at the beach, just running around and enjoying the sun. He spotted a crowd of seagulls, probably 50-60 of them, all sitting on the sand. What does he do? He does what every dog would do. He chases them. I watch him chase that huge crowd of seagulls, and as they fly in scrambles, he looks up at this chaotic group of seagulls and he grins. It was probably the proudest moment of his life and I love him for that.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Conway: As I mentioned before, we love our pet community! It's the best. I used to worry about how many followers I was gaining, but I realized the true reward of Adonis' account. We've made so many friends that we hope to meet up and have puppy playdates with some day. I love catching up on their pups' lives and seeing their little pups grow.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Conway: Soon, little Adonis will be undergoing his neutering surgery, so keep up with us for that crazy content! It'll also be his 1st birthday in June, and I'm excited to be planning the theme for that. Stay tuned!
