Today we got the honor of interviewing Sammi (Buddy's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Loyd: I like capturing Buddy’s personality and watching him grow up. I also love watching my photography grow.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Loyd: I don’t think anything really sets him apart. Everyone is unique in their own way. I love being real on all aspects of captions and photography. I also love talking to all the friends I’ve made on this platform.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Loyd: No creative process. Just keep practicing my skills and training buddy.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Loyd: No hate ever that I know of.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Loyd: Be real and always ask for help when you want it. I get ideas from all my new friends and inspo from other accounts. Do what you love as well. Lots of accounts can misguide you. Do what you want and when you want.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Loyd: It hasn’t. I just continuously buy him more things!

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Loyd: Buddy is still working on wait and looking at the camera. One time we had him sitting on a rock and he fell over from excitement and didn’t realize he was on the edge and just took off. His brain doesn’t always line up with his legs.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

LoydMeeting new people!

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Loyd: Hopefully take more active hikes and hike new parks to explore in the new year. Also hopefully master paws up!
