Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Lærke Thers: I love creating all kinds of content - sweet, funny, tearful. I want more people to know that street dogs too are super clever, cute, sweet, funny and much more! That they are the best friends to have. If only more people knew that, then maybe there would be less street dogs in our would <3
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Lærke Thers: She’s a street dog, she looks kinda like a little bat in her face, she’s a very fast learner and photogenic. And her ears are SO BIG
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Lærke Thers: I make my own kind of the trending posts right now, in hopes of getting viral. When that happens, I will be making much more of my own content. I get ideas all the time and I just love editing videos. My plan is, that I start trends, haha
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Lærke Thers: Yes, I’ve dealt with it calmly or by ignoring. Negativity doesn’t get through to me easily since I’m a very positive person
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Lærke Thers: Do it! Post everyday, anything. Follow big pet-fluencers and notice how often they post posts, reels and stories and do it just as often AND also invents in high quality cameras + a drone :))
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Lærke Thers: She makes me so extremely happy. I love her so much. She makes me smile and laugh all day long, because of her I also exercise a lot more and the best part; I get to pet so many more dogs everywhere. Her dog-friends are my dog-friends. Also I see my own human friends a lot more since everyone asks if they can come along on a walk
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Lærke Thers: One time she farted very loudly just after I stopped recording - and all my roomies heard and they thought it was me, and they still do. Also she’s very funny when she touches sand. And they way she looks out the window at home from 5th floor it just the best. She’s a diva monitoring her very own queendome
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Lærke Thers: I get to edit videos all day - both hilarious, but also videos that make you tear up🥹🥹 and I get to spend every hour of the day with my best friend
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Lærke Thers: I hope I can end up living of being a petfluencer so that I can travel the world with my furfriend by my side. Driving everywhere and sailing. She’s learning to be a sailing dog right now. She already mastered cars and public transportation. I don’t want to fly with her unless she can stay with me in the cabin
