Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Clark: I have a huge passion for dogs, I’ve always loved them and used my own Instagram which was just full of photos of my first dog Daisy. When we re-homed Poppy, I felt it would be great to make them their own page. I was hoping it would be somewhere I could share with my friends and family, but since I made the page it got pretty popular and brands started reaching out. I thought this was an amazing idea considering I was already buying all the same brands. It gave me the opportunity to show it off and make amazing connections. My page is something I love as I can show off my beloved pets, keep myself occupied, and it’s very good for my mental health!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Clark: I think the fact that I have two entirely different breeds sets my dogs apart. They have different personalities, looks, sizes, and I think they’re both so good for promoting brands and sharing how they suit different things.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Clark: A lot of my content is indoors as my dogs absolutely love the outdoors, getting messy and having fun. We live in a very cold and wet city so our outdoor content isn’t very aesthetic to many. We normally like to see what other creators are creating for ideas, looking at all platforms to see what’s trending. But sometimes we just have fun, have treats and take silly photos and videos.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Clark: I think sometimes on social media it is very hard to keep up with the jones’ regardless if this is a dog account, a personal account etc. Social Media is all fake; behind the scenes, nothing is that perfect. Some accounts sometimes can make owning a dog unrealistic. I try and overcome negative feelings by realizing that my dogs are happy with a ball, love, and walks rather than unlimited treats, expensive clothes, and unrealistic lifestyles.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Clark: Social Media is all a facade, have fun and don’t take anything too seriously. With this attitude, your content will come across genuine and you will connect with amazing creators and accounts. Never let anyone make you feel like you’re not doing enough.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Clark: As a sufferer of Mental Illness, this has given me a purpose, a new healthy hobby, and given me more of a get-up-and-go to get outside more and make my dogs happy because when they’re happy, it makes me happy.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Clark: I find that every time I pull out the camera I either get one in a muddy puddle, one running away, or doing a poop. It’s as if they know!

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Clark: Just having fun with my dog, having supportive accounts to connect with and people are so genuine and always great for advice!

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Clark: We’re currently working on growing to 10k. I have a few trips planned with the girls and would absolutely love to celebrate 10k with an amazing scenic view!
