Today we got the honor of interviewing Malea (Denver's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Roach: I adopted the most handsome baby boy, Denver. I wanted to share him with the world. So I began sharing our adventures and it looked like it was making others happy. Denver is the definition of a golden, he only wants to make others happy…except when he chooses to not bring the ball back.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Roach: He’s a goof. He’s almost 4 and still hasn’t figured out how to be a normal dog. We think he’s part kangaroo. He’s a jumper but likes to flip it and then reverse it.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Roach: Let a sleeping dog lie. Let them snooze and come up with their own content and capture the moment.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Roach: No, everyone has actually been really nice. The only challenges have been at the dog park. There are two dogs that are out for me I swear!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Roach: Let your dog be a dog and have fun with it!!

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Roach: Denver’s brought so much love and happiness to my life outside social media. He always helps me get out more and adventure!

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Roach: We were enjoying a new dog park. He caught a scent, ran, and jumped right into a pond. He was so proud.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Roach: Making humans smile.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Roach: Just won a free stay down in Lake Tahoe, CA. Many more mountain adventures to come.
