Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Avila:We started just posting daily pictures of our dogs together. Suddenly we were offered partnerships to promote products. It has been an amazing journey, we get to meet so many people and brands
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Avila:We have two unique breed of dogs. Dexter is a lab mix and Maya is a Husky mix with some wolf in her DNA. Maya is also bi-eyed. They are both 3 years old and have a similar fur pattern!
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Avila: I just take so many pics of them and videos, we look from trending audios for our videos. We also post a lot of products from our partners.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Avila: Just lack of engagement at times with Instagram not collaborating, happens to all of us!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Avila: Be patient, it takes time and can be so time consuming!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Avila: My dogs are my children, I love them deeply and they are part of my everyday happiness!
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Avila: There are too many moments to count or tell, every adventure is special in its own way
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Avila: I love the community, how everyone is so sweet and supportive.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Avila: We want to continue growing our social media, continue making dog friends. My goal is to attend the pet global expo next year!
