Today we got the honor of interviewing Anne-Lin (Dribbel's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.
Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Vuijk: I wanted a digital diary for my dog, where I can share and see all the adventures he’s been on.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Vuijk: First of all his color, he’s a black and white poodle. These colors are quite particular. And second he has his whole own personality, which is portrayed in his profile.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Vuijk: Usually when we’re doing something like walks in the park of a day out in to the city I record everything we do. Than later at home I’ll select what I think is good and fun content. And then I post it.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Vuijk: Luckily not yet!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Vuijk: Interact with other dog accounts. Be genuine and don’t do it for the followers, do it because you like it.
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Vuijk: Almost anytime we go out we’ll receive compliments about Dribbel. That he’s cute or about his black and white colors.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Vuijk: Most memorable moments are when we were on holiday. We (my partner and I) and Dribbel enjoy that so much, and the content is beautiful.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Vuijk: Interactions with other accounts. And sharing Dribbel’s adventure with everyone.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Vuijk: I’ve just started to be more active on his TikTok account. So I’ve a couple of new ideas for TikTok 😄
