Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Marmo: It all started out with a video that I totally did not intend to go viral. Our most viral video reached 5.6M views on Tiktok. From there we built a dog loving community on Tiktok and Instagram. We love to post funny and relatable videos!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Marmo: She’s the perfect mixture of sweet and sassy. Honestly the stuff I catch on camera is honestly her authentic self. I’m just the dog mom with the camera. I would say or niche is Labgram/LabTiktok

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Marmo: A lot of them have to do with human trends that I will twist and make them into a dog trend. The most recent successful content series we had was “We’re Labby’s” I’ve always called Ellie a my Labby. A lot of viewers liked that term and adopted it themselves.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Marmo: Ohhh yes. Plenty. I use to expose the comment and make a video about it. Now I just ignore it and let our lovely followers go after the haters. I also stopped posting anything that could be too controversial lol.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Marmo: Post. Even if you think it’s not good or “cringe” post it. You never know what video is going to take off. When it does, run with it.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Marmo: she makes my life better. She’s my soul dog and we do everything together. I wouldn’t have any other way!

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Marmo: Yes, one of the funniest photo shoots is when Ellie decided to jump up on the dining table. (This was in her puppy teenager phase). It was very funny and I pressed the record button right away 😂

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Marmomaking people laugh, and having a comfort account for many people.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Marmo: Yes! We have a couple paid partnerships with very exciting brands. You will just have to follow along and see who we are working with! 💖
