Today we got the honor of interviewing Brenda (Georgina's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.
Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Brenda: When we rescued Georgina we knew we had to create an Instagram to share her pictures and videos, because she was so cute and funny, and we knew that people would love her!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Brenda: Of course we're biased, but we think she's extra funny, cute and adorable!
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Brenda: I go with the creative flow, sometimes at night I have a good idea so I write it down to remember, we also do trends, I don't have a specific creative process.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Brenda: Honestly no, everybody loves Georgina!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Brenda: I should say to go ahead and do it! You'll find an amazing community, the dog lovers community is awesome.
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Brenda: We also have another Basset that we rescued, I once saw a great bumper sticker about rescue dogs and it said: "Who really rescued who?". The love and companionship that our dogs bring us fill our lives with happiness and joy.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Brenda: I can't remember any specific moment now, I'll think for our interview.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Brenda: Meeting and engaging with new friends from all over the world, the happiness we share with every post.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Brenda: We hope that we can continue growing our community, we have an upcoming project to work with Barkbox!
