Today we got the honor of interviewing Sophie (Bodie's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Bahmani: When we first decided to get Bodie, we knew we wanted to start his social media! Starting from day 1, we would post any cute videos or photos of him because he is too cute to not share. Our first viral video got millions of likes and views, which was of me teaching him how to go down the stairs. From there, we saw people would love him as much as we do and just continued to post!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Bahmani: Bodie’s mischievous and funny personality seems to draw people in. He has an attitude when we are doing something he doesn’t like, and it makes it fun to watch! He also has a freckled tongue, which we get questions on all the time!

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Bahmani: Our filming is based on what we find funny or cute in our day to day lives. For example, Bodie wakes us up like an angry toddler wanting to go play. It makes us laugh every morning so I thought - why not film this? Chances are if we are having fun experiencing it, people will have fun watching it! From there it just blossomed and now we have fun trying new videos out!

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Bahmani: Of course growing a following comes with its challenges. People love to give their input on our choices of training methods, food choices etc. For us, we know how good of dog parents we are so we don’t let those things affect us!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Bahmani: Just do it! Having a dog has given us some of the most joyful memories we’ve had yet, and it’s so fun to know we have it all documented on social media and get to share it with people all over the world!

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Bahmani: Having a responsibility for something other than ourselves has been so much fun, and also challenging. We’ve grown in so many ways and can’t wait to add to our family!

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Bahmani: The video of Bodie waking me up in the morning is always funny! I had the idea to film it when I was trying to take a nap in the middle of the day, and that’s one of our most loved videos. You can genuinely tell Bodie doesn’t want me to sleep and will do anything he can to not allow me to!

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Bahmani: Getting to share our moments with people! Bodie brings us so much joy and I love that he brings others the same joy. We get comments saying they wait for our videos every day and that it makes their day to see. That has to be my favorite thing by far!

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Bahmani: We are starting our YouTube channel very shortly… it will be a lifestyle channel where you get to know myself and my fiancé more, as well as our lives with Bodie! Maybe he’ll get a brother soon too… who knows 👀
