Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Darling: I’ve always wanted to create an instagram account for my dog! Growing up I was used to following the famous “grumpy” cat, that’s where it kinda sparked my interest. I wanted to share my dog’s personality and my funny personality as well!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Darling: I think her colors really set her apart! We are always getting stopped in the stores and that’s the first thing everyone mentions about her.Not to mention her journey of growing up in a small rural area of northern Maine!
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Darling: Some of them I come up with on the spot, while some I put my own twist on other creative post others in the community have shared! I don’t really have a creative process, but I try to remain most of the content around the same niche; such as puppy training, humor, and daily life vlogs.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Darling: Thankfully my page is still fairly small! So we haven’t seen any negativity. I try to keep the page a fun and safe place!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Darling: Go for it!!! It’s honestly a lot of fun and the dog community is absolutely amazing!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Darling: She honestly has made me more extroverted! Because she’s super friendly and loves everything and everyone she really draws me out to be more talkative and out of my comfort zone.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Darling: The most recent memory was just recently we went ice fishing with our friends and family, and juniper last time seeing a fish was during the summer and she wasn’t to interested in it. So when our nephew caught the first fish of the day junipers eyes got super big and she was absolutely in love! It was just super cute to see her enjoying the day and living her best life!
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Darling: Sharing my dogs journey and also all the other dog moms I get to meet and make friends with💕
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Darling: Our goal is to continue striving for more brand deals! I’m super excited for summer to be here to start working on some dog friendly hiking projects! (Fingers crossed)
