Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Our journey started when Kimchi was a puppy and we decided to start her own Instagram page so friends and family could go there to see what she was up to instead of flooding our own personal pages. We started connecting with other Instagram corgi pages and communities and the rest is history 😀 Kimchi was a hit from the start as she is a fluffy Corgi which is more rare than the short-haired corgi's and we love sharing her adventures where she goes.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Kimchi is a fluffy/long-haired corgi which is a recessive gene among corgi litters. There aren't too many which makes her a unicorn among corgi's 😄
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
It depends on the day and theme's, or whatever is trending/social media challenges. Sometimes it's just my own mood and Kimchi usually feels the same way as they follow their owners a lot. 😄
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
We don't really feed into drama or negativity online, and if we do we block or ignore the noise. It's best to disassociate and remember what you are there for - spreading positive vibes 🥰
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
We would stay stick to your niche, have fun and stay consistent 💪 always stay positive and have a goal what you want to achieve with the account.
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Always, Kimchi is my muse to always get out, enjoy life and snap those moments in time where we both can enjoy the simple things in our busy lives.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Kimchi is always a diva when we're attending photoshoots or campaigns. She definitely makes her presence known by borking at all new friends and staring them down to give her attention and pets lol.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
The people, connections, community, and passion we all have for our pets. We're here to give them the best lives with the short amount of time they are here on earth 🌎
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
We usually pick and choose any campaigns or events to attend. So everything is up in the air, we are just grateful for the opportunities that come our way 🥰🐾🐶
