Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

G: From a young age, I knew I wanted a French Bulldog. So, when I finally made the decision to search for one I was very eager to find the right one and the moment I saw Kirby I knew he was the one I was supposed to have. My entire camera roll was all just really cute photos and videos of Kirby and I felt like the people on my personal instagram were getting sick of me only posting about Kirby so I decided to make a separate account for him and just posted what I wanted because it was fun and Kirby is cute. I never intended on going in a particular direction with his page. I post because I love taking photos of Kirby and his followers love watching him grow.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

G: Well, to me I see something In Kirby that I don’t see in other animals. He has a special quality to him that’s loving and introspective and overtly self-aware I guess you can say, and I think his followers see that too.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

G: I prefer to share the small moments that I find special. Surprisingly, the videos I put the least amount of thought into do the best.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

G: Share organic moments and don’t always follow trends. Post what you like about your animal usually other people will like it as well.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

G: He’s helped me slow down in my day to day. I used to jump from one thing to the next or find myself feeling exhausted after being out of the house all day but I have a responsibility to be home at certain times of the day so I can walk Kirby because he only goes to the bathroom on walks, so because I have to walk him four or five times a day I need to schedule my day around him which grounds me.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

G: A lot of the good photos I’ve taken of Kirby were split moments that I noticed something sweet or special or funny and it somehow translated into the photograph and those are the ones I try to share. Kirby has a great personality so really all the moments in which the photos are taken there’s always something he’s doing that’ll make you laugh or feel comfort.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

GI love sharing Kirby’s special moments and brightening the days of his followers with his sweet face.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

G: I have brands that I dream of working with down the line that align with the lifestyle of being a pet owner. I’d like to branch out into pet lifestyle content, the importance of taking the responsibility of owning a dog seriously and what that looks like. Especially French bulldogs.
