Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Magliulo: Our journey to becoming a dog influencer started during the summer of last year. I brought home my dream dog, my babygirl Luna! She was a bundle of joy and love but let me tell you, those first few weeks were rough! I was consistently capturing all the beautiful moments, and she was truly the cutest puppy! I had so many adorable photos and videos I wanted to share with everyone so I decided to create a tiktok page where I shared some of my favorite videos. We eventually moved over to Instagram and we are most active on that platform now! Luna always had such a playful personality which made it so easy to capture in photos and videos. My inspiration behind it all was to make people smile. She brought so much light into my life and all I wanted was to share that with the world!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Magliulo: I think Luna’s character and silly personality is what sets her apart from other dogs on social media. You honestly cannot be upset or angry around her. She lights up any room she walks into and always manages to put a smile on people’s faces! It also helps that she is incredibly adorable! Luna is full of energy and definitely has her crazy moments but she is also the biggest love bug as she loves a good cuddle.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Magliulo: We get a lot of inspiration from content I see on social media! I do go through the explore page and watch reels from other creators on the daily. I like to see what’s trending and we put our own spin on it! Sometimes we plan ahead for content and other times we come up with something on the spot.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Magliulo: We have had our fair share of negative comments on our content but I’ve learned to not let it bother me. At the end of the day Luna is my dog and I know what is best for her. We knew this was bound to happen with putting her life out there on social media.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Magliulo: The advice I would give is to think about what makes your dog unique and use that when you’re creating content. We started out with a very small following but we have grown so much over the past few months! The most important thing is to share content that you love and be genuine! Instagram has been an amazing platform that helped us form so many great relationships. Treat it as a community and spread love and you will get so much in return!

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Magliulo: Luna has changed my life for the better. She has honestly been the light in my life when I needed it most. She came into my life and brought so much love that I never knew I needed. I call Luna my soul dog, from the moment I met her I fell in love. I’ve been through some hard times and having her there by my side has made it so much easier.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Magliulo: Luna honestly makes every moment so memorable but I tend to reminisce a lot on her young puppy days. When we took her to the beach for the first time it was a day I’ll never forget. It’s so amazing to watch her experience things for the first time and she was so excited about it all. She had zoomies all through the sand and she was digging huge holes. She was having the time of her life and I’m so glad I captured all of these moments!

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Magliulo: My favorite thing is having a wonderful community that showers us with so much love and support! We have formed so many relationships with the most amazing people. It has been so comforting to have people there to talk to about anything. I love having them be a part of Luna’s journey and the fact that they get to watch her grow!

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Magliulo: What’s next for us is just seeing how much we can grow! It’s so much fun seeing how many people around the world our content can reach! As of recently we have started our own dog treat small business (lunadoonessweettreats on instagram). Luna is our CEO and official taste tester which she has been loving! It honestly makes our day seeing how many people have supported us through this new journey and we can’t wait to see where it takes us!
