Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Chumaceiro: We have always had a deep love for dogs and their unique personalities. When we brought Lilo home, we were amazed by her intelligence and charm. We started sharing pictures and videos of our daily adventures on social media, and to our surprise, they started gaining attention. People seemed to enjoy the positivity and joy that our dog brought to their feed. Over time, our followers grew, and we became what you might call "dog influencers." The inspiration came from the desire to share the happiness and joy that our dog brings into our everyday lives. We wanted to show people the bond between a human and a dog and how much fun and adventure it can get into one's life. Plus, we felt that our dog's adorable antics and playful nature were too good not to share.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Chumaceiro: What sets our dog apart is her unique personality and the bond we share. Her playful antics, combined with her ability to express a wide range of emotions, make her particularly interesting to our followers. Her adventurous spirit and the joy she finds in simple things, like a walk in the park, frisbee on the beach, ball in the yard, or a new toy, resonate with our audience and make our content relatable and engaging.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Chumaceiro: Most of our content ideas come naturally from our daily lives and adventures. We focus on capturing authentic moments that showcase our dog's personality and our bond. Sometimes, we plan specific activities or themes based on seasons, holidays, or trending topics. But the key is to keep it enjoyable for both of us. After all, the joy and authenticity in our posts are what our followers love the most.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Chumaceiro: Not yet, thankfully.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Chumaceiro: Our advice would be to focus on authenticity. Share the real, everyday moments that showcase your dog's personality and your bond. Consistency is also key, so try to post regularly. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages. Remember, it's about sharing the joy your dog brings into your life, so ensure it stays enjoyable for both of you.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Chumaceiro: Our dog has brought immense joy and companionship into our lives. She has taught us to appreciate the simple moments and has helped us stay active and healthy. Her unconditional love and loyalty have also provided comfort and emotional support during challenging times. Overall, she has enriched our lives in countless ways beyond our social media presence.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Chumaceiro: Sure, during a beach photoshoot, our dog, Lilo, intuitively leaped into the air and snatched the frisbee at the peak of her jump. Everyone cheered and clapped as she ran back with the frisbee in her mouth. We were all amazed at her athletic abilities.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Chumaceiro: Our favorite thing about being a dog influencer is the ability to share the joy and love that Lilo brings into our lives with others. It's rewarding to see how our adventures and stories can brighten someone's day and inspire them to create beautiful moments with their pets. 🐾💛

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Chumaceiro: Yes, we're excited to share that we're embarking on a journey to train Lilo to become a certified therapy dog.
