Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Easter: My fiance and I had just moved to Seattle, Washington after college and we wanted to get a puppy! After getting Moose I wanted a way to keep a video journal of his growth. Doing daily videos of him really sparked our imaginations! I have a background in Marketing and I always love to promote products and come up with new marketing ideas. I started to create videos for Moose that were more geared towards products that he loved and it began to get more traction. It has been so fun to share Moose's growth and his adventures!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Easter: What sets Moose apart from other dogs on social media is his quirky personality, which we highlight through creative individualist videos. Each video is created to showcase his unique traits and antics, whether it's his hilarious attempts at learning new tricks (or opening doors) or his adorable reactions to everyday situations. Our followers love getting to see Moose's distinct personality shine through in each video. Plus, we've added a catchy slogan, "What is up guys its Moose," which not only adds a fun and memorable element to our content but also helps structure our videos and build a recognizable brand for Moose. This combination of creative content and a unique slogan has definitely contributed to Moose's popularity on social media.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Easter: To create ideas for his posts and content I rely heavily on TikTok and other creators. I really love to see how other dog influencers are using different sounds in fun ways. For me this really helps to start our creative process. I try to build out at least two posts a day, one where we use his slogan "What is up guys it's Moose" and another showcasing his quirky personality or a trend that I've seen on TikTok!

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Easter: So far we have not dealt with any negativity on social media, but that's not to say that people don't always agree with everything we say! We usually just try to be kind to everyone even if we are not doing it the way they would.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Easter: Some advice that I would give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account would be to just start! At first I was overwhelmed with creating videos every day and creating content for brands, but once a little bit of time went on I realized how rewarding it was! As well, I would say to try new things. If there is a sound that you heard and think it would make a great TikTok but it's not a trend yet, do it! It's a great way to get your name out there and express your creativity!

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Easter: Oh boy, I could list a thousand reasons for how Moose has influenced my life outside of social media. He makes me more present in my own life. Prior to him I would find myself just skipping through days and living for the weekend. Now with Moose there really is something to look forward to every day, whether it be a simple walk or just doing trainings. He makes me want to be a better and more patient person and truly shows me what it means to love someone. For my fiance and I specifically, taking care of him has brought us closer together as a couple, strengthening our bond and teaching us valuable lessons in teamwork and communication.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Easter: A memorable moment that we had with Moose was when we went to Cannon Beach, OR for our anniversary. This was our first big trip with Moose and we wanted to go on walks every day! It was our last day of the trip and we needed to go on a walk before driving home. When we got to the beach we realized it was torrentially downpouring rain and we decided to just go with it. With Moose and his little rain jacket on we walked all the way down the beach with the rain in our faces. Since there was no one on the beach we decided to let him off-leash and it was the first time we ever did this. He stayed right with us running. Even though it was pouring rain and we were all soaked it was such an amazing memory with him!

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Easter: My favorite thing about being a dog influencer is that I get to interact with so many different people daily and truly build a community. By commenting, reposting, and liking other creators' content it helps me grow as a creator and grow myself as well. I love being able to bounce ideas off of other people and truly share what I love to do!

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Easter: Moose's socials have been starting to get slightly more traction lately, so we have had the amazing opportunity to begin to work with a few brands. In the near future we have a couple videos and some content coming out featuring some of our absolute favorite brands! We hope to continue to grow his following and reach as many dog lovers and people as we can!
