Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Kilday: I started Ozzy’s account when he was about 10 months old as a place to always be able to look back on all our past pictures and memories over the years! Also with hopes to meet & engage with other dog parents & to share all our adventures!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Kilday: Oz has a one of a kind personality his ears are as big as his heart!
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Kilday: We love to show our adventures and talk about relatable topics with other dogs & dog parents! As well as supporting small businesses
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Kilday: Luckily we haven’t so far!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Kilday: I would say to always remember you can take breaks if you need to! It can be very overwhelming seeing or thinking you need to post how everyone else is. Do or post what you want and only do it as long as you’re enjoying it!!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Kilday: Oz truly keeps me going he gets me out of bed every day, good day & bad. His love for the outdoors has made me realize how much I love it as well and we’ve gotten to enjoy so much of life together! We go on all the camping trips and hiking trails and I am so grateful for him!
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Kilday: Ozzy loves to watch the squirrels and one time we were taking pictures and he was watching them like usual. Well this time he decided to run for them and took me down in the process! We can look back and laugh on it now haha
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Kilday: I love being able to connect with all the other dog parents!
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Kilday: We would love to do some partnerships and definitely are hoping to have more adventures this year!
