Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Cashman: Before starting a social media account for my Maya, my camera roll was already full of pictures of her. I stumbled upon other dog social media accounts while looking for dog advice and was inspired to create her own account with a username I liked (pawsup4treats). Now I enjoy sharing her adorable photos and videos.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Cashman: Maya is unique as a high-energy rescue dog who initially shows reactivity towards strangers but becomes loving once she knows them. She helps promote the idea that reactive dogs are also good dogs.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Cashman: I post photos and videos that I personally like, following trends that appeal to me. I aim to be authentic and realistic in my posts.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Cashman: Fortunately, I have not encountered any challenges or negativity so far, and I hope it remains that way.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Cashman: Just go for it! Don't be afraid to start. I hesitated for a year but now love sharing my dog's journey. Stay true to yourself and engage with the dog parent community on social media.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Cashman: Maya is my constant companion, and we enjoy outdoor activities together like hiking and walks. Due to her reactivity, we manage interactions with strangers carefully.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Cashman: One memorable moment was during a swimming trip. Despite wearing a life jacket, Maya is fearful when she can't touch the ground and clings to me or even climbs on top of me. It taught me to gradually introduce her to swimming.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Cashman: I love having a platform to share all the pictures and videos of my dog.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Cashman: Hoping for new brand collaborations, connecting with more dog parents, and capturing cute moments of Maya in upcoming posts.
