Today we got the honor of interviewing Rita (Oscar's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Valenti: My dog is always with me, when I go to have breakfast at the bar, when I go shopping and when I meet my friends. It would be almost impossible not to tell to my followers about him because he is always there!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Valenti: I think my followers understand the relationship between me and my dog very well. They understand the bond, the fact that if they see me around they will see him too.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Valenti: Absolutely not! I often photograph my outfits and since Oscar is like my shadow, he's in the photos too! He always wants to be the center of attention.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Valenti: Of course, it happened that someone criticized my way of managing Oscar. But I am aware that I am giving him the best life possible and I have no doubt that he is happy with me.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Valenti: Simply do it now! If you love your dog this means that it is the best part of your days, so why not share your love for animals on social media too? Maybe it can help those who don't appreciate them to see them from other perspectives.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Valenti: No way, Oscar gets recognized on the street and everyone cuddles him! I'd say we all won.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Valenti: Very often when I shoot videos Oscar is always peeing somewhere, it's very funny that while I'm showing off how I'm dressed he's on the pole behind me while he raises his paw.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Valenti: Which really shows how I live my life, that is, always alongside my best friend.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Valenti: For now nothing regarding social media! But we are open to all possibilities.
