Today we got the honor of interviewing Ashley (Carmel, Rolo, Fondue & Hadley's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Maddox: For us, we share about our dog training and boarding business. We share about our personal dogs too. Our journey originally started by sharing about the dogs staying with us to help grow our small business and over the years we have begun sharing training tips along the way.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Maddox: We have a variety of dogs that stay with us from 5lb Chihuahuas to a 140lb Great Dane! Our personal dogs are all different breeds and are very well trained which helps when creating reels.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Maddox: We own a small dog business, so our niche is dog boarding and training. We are starting to shift our page to giving advice on common dog training questions.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Maddox: We have not received any negativity through our page. Our challenge has been growing our page to a wider audience.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Maddox: Find your niche and stick with it. Don’t overthink what you’re posting, just keep posting.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Maddox: We have been able to meet a wide variety of people in real life when we have our dogs with us. We’ve been able to hear a lot of cool stories and some of those people have become lifelong friends!

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Maddox: We created a reel to Jaxx’s song “Victoria Secret” where we had our personal dogs be different characters in the song. It was hilarious to film and even funnier to watch back. That reel reached Jaxx and it has been our favorite video we’ve created to date.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Maddox: Sharing our story, giving helpful tips, and all the awesome people we’ve met along the way.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Maddox: We are in the process of diving more into training tip videos and creating an online-based training program to help more dogs.
