Today we got the honor of interviewing Mahaly (Tucker, Sadie & Sophie's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Flores: It started with Tucker, he came to our life when we had just moved to Utah and I started sharing our adventures and didn't realize people would care about it, but we started growing once Sadie joined our family, she was the cutest little chunker pup, she captivated people's attention and we started getting a lot of attention but we never thought we could gain anything out of it, we then added Sophie and it's been the greatest most challenging adventure of my life.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Flores: This is tough lol, I think they each have their own personalities but i feel like it's the way I've always captured their cute relationship. They're so cuddly and loving with each other

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Flores: It's rare that I plan out content, I still don't have my own thing going on or a niche if that makes any sense. I post videos with funny audios so it's just what i think resonates with us. I have a passion for photography so I try to always mix a little of both videos and photos. Most of our followers prefer videos so I try to give them that, but recently I've been loving photos, they just capture a lot without explaining it and I feel more creative with captions too

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Flores: Of course! Sometimes when looking at other amazing creators I start comparing myself, I think why can't I be at that level? But then I just ground myself and realize we all have different paths, we can all have our sunshine. When there is any negativity, i take time off social media when I need it and don't take things people say too seriously

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Flores: Just do it, don't overthink it! Share that adorable photo that you show everyone, post that cute video of your dog doing nothing, you'll find your audience. Just have fun with it.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Flores: Ahh! In so many ways. They're just the best part of my life along with my husband lol. They just give so much without expecting anything back, they're my entire life.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Flores: Hmm, I think a funny moment was when we were at this big dog park called Run A Muk and they were running towards me and a dog came in at full speed and they all slipped! Gladly no one was hurt but their faces, it was so funny!

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Flores: There is a lot, but my absolute favorite is that we get to have online friends that are just as obsessed with our dogs as we are

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Flores: We've got some cool partnerships coming, we are also planning a trip so we can't wait for that!
