Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Santana: I'm deeply passionate about animals, especially my beloved fur babies. Sharing their love and joy brings me immense happiness. Through my journey, I've discovered the importance of proper care, trusted companies, and supporting rescue efforts. I've found incredible trainers, businesses, and a community of like-minded animal lovers who share my devotion. This is what keeps me inspired! 😊
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Santana: Chowy's irresistible charm, with his adorable puppy dog face reminiscent of the 🐶 emoji, captures hearts effortlessly. His playful antics in the park, documented in photos and videos, are beloved by our followers, showcasing his sensitive, cuddly, and fluffy nature.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Santana: I enjoy curating and sharing content that reflects my purchases, learning experiences, and daily routines that involves my beloved pups. Our content stems from authentic moments, whether it's trying out new trends, celebrating holidays, or capturing humorous antics. Above all, ensuring our doggies' well-being and happiness takes precedence, making them the focal point of our social media endeavors.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Santana: Currently, our primary focus is on ensuring Fergie's smooth transition into her new life, including arranging training courses when appropriate. As a result, our Instagram community may notice a decrease in interaction and content consistency. We value our relationship with our community immensely and aim to keep them informed and engaged. Once Fergie is settled and ready to embark on her new journey with her new family and Chowy, we will resume our regular content production!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Santana: Embrace the boundless love of your pets, for it's an endless wellspring that flows both ways!! Let your heart overflow with affection, knowing that every ounce you give will be returned TENFOLD. JUST POST. Share their joy, their quirks, their favorite things, and watch as your circle of fellow pet lovers grows. Don't hesitate to begin this journey of love and companionship—it's a path that leads to immeasurable happiness and countless cherished moment for you and your pets. 🤍
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Santana: My dogs are my guiding light, reminding me of life's precious moments with every step I take. Their boundless love infuses each walk with purpose, each moment with meaning! In their presence, I find solace, joy, and a reminder of life's fleeting beauty. They are not just companions but guardians of my soul. I cherish every wag of their tail, every playful bark, for they are the reason I find joy in the simplest of things. They are my angels on earth, saving me with their love every single day.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Santana: I absolutely adore those moments when I'm filming and Chowy playfully kicks his back legs up in the air. It never fails to make me laugh! You can catch those moments in so many of his videos on our Instagram page!
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Santana: As a dog influencer, my favorite part is undoubtedly the quality time spent with my fur babies. Introducing them to new experiences and places fills my heart with cherished memories. And the wonderful community we've built together? It's overflowing with love and support from like-minded individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting on this journey!!
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Santana: Absolutely, once my dogs are settled in and Fergie is comfortable with her new home, I'm eager to have Fergie join training classes with Chowy! I would also love contribute more to the community. I plan to visit dog shelters to assist in finding forever homes for other dogs, ensuring they receive the love and care they rightfully deserve.
