DOGFLUENCERS: Meet Star, Instagram's Most Adorable Tri-Color Black Corgi
Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.
Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.
Today we got the honor of interviewing Star (Star's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.
Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Ruan: The first motivation is really simple - dog's life is short, and we want to keep a record of all the precious moments of being their pawrents! Along the way, we realized our posts actually inspired and helped other pawrents, emphasizing the importance of being in a community of love and care for our precious furkids!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Ruan: Star, first of all, is a very rare black color corgi, which attracts people's attention. Secondly, Star is really clever (sometimes too clever). It is not just the tricks we taught her, but she has her own "AI" to self-train herself to open the door, close the door, steal the snacks, and hide the package under her bed XD
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Ruan: I generally keep a high frequency and post during popular hours such as night and weekends. The posts would be categorized into daily and special moments.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Ruan: Don't think too much, just start by sharing, caring, and recording the best moments of your furkids! They are the angels of the world!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Ruan: It did help me to be a better person, and I've made so many good friends through our dogs!
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Ruan: My dog was selected to be an "animal ambassador" for a natural salad brand. Initially, I was scared my dog may not like the salads, making it difficult to shoot her; yet, totally the opposite! Star LOVES the SALADS!!! And she became the "salad-eating" dog that made the brand an additional revenue stream for dog owners!
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Ruan: The joyfulness and the time we spent together as a family with our pup.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Ruan: We are trying to share more good and beneficial products for the dog community. I believe Fi could be one of them.
