Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Pathani: Hey there! I am Ayush Pathani from Haldwani, Uttarakhand. It all started when bagheera came in my life and I felt like introducing him to social media. I wanted to share my life’s journey with my pet Bagheera through my page (@the_pahadi_gsd) with all the people and share his all play and cute activities with everyone, so that people may come to know us worldwide. I wanted to share our each and every moment of our life with everyone. I also wanted to keep all lovely and adventurous memories together as a treasure which was possible only through social media that even after many years we can see and feel all his mischievous and cute activities.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Pathani: His mischievous activities. As a person, I see many dogs on social media, but it is factual that every dog has his unique behavior. German Shepherds are very familiar and lovely dogs and his unique mischievous activities can’t be compared with anyone like the way he drinks water directly from tap, his zoomies, his way of holding his leash in his mouth while walking, and one most unique thing is that he loves eating ice cubes, way of waiting for mom till she comes back whenever she’s out of home and much more that I share through my social media page which is indescribable through words. This makes him unique to my followers.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Pathani: I capture his activities and this attracts me to share it with everyone and sometimes I also take ideas from some influencers. I notice his any playful activities and feel like we can make a creative post regarding it for our audience.

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Pathani: Yeah, I faced it sometimes from many people or even from my relatives or friends, but I don’t get affected by them. According to me, people’s work is to always oppose a person who is raising their work is to only suppress the person I ignore their negativity that they wanted to spread on me. I keep creating content because I believe that if I am not doing any bad so why to stop and keep spreading happiness and love through it.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Pathani: I would advise them that don’t feel hesitant in starting your pet’s account start as soon as you get this idea and share their pet’s all beautiful activities among everyone and make a beautiful memorable journey on social media. So that depressed people out there may come to your reel while scrolling and may get a big smile on their face. And please don’t get affected by those negativity which are being spread by other people because I think they are such heartless person that are even jealous of these lovable animals.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Pathani: I used to be a very sad and hopeless boy I don’t even talk to people but then a life-changing moment happened when Bagheera came into my life. My perspective of seeing towards life changed. My love and affection towards animals increased. I understood responsibilities from him by daily taking him to walk, feeding him food in proper time. Giving him proper timely baths taught me hygiene manners a lot. The way he gives me sudden kisses, comes near me to play taught me showing unconditional love.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Pathani: Oh! It’s a very funny habit of Bagheera that whenever he does any cute and mischievous things that I think I can capture in the camera as soon as I take my camera towards him he used to sit in a very sincere and innocent manner like he never did that thing.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Pathani: The favorite thing is that I can make people happy through my content. In this world of spreading negativity, I feel very good that I am able to spread happiness and love among people.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Pathani: I have a great dream planned for my Bagheera to take him to the mountains, firstly to Khaliya Top located in Munshiyari, Pithoragarh and introduce him to his favorite thing ‘snow’. I want to travel with him all over the world and make our life memorable for myself and for him also.
