Today we got the honor of interviewing Emily (Weller's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Sirh: I loved following other dogs and puppies on Instagram, so when I got Weller I couldn’t help but share his cute moments with everyone!

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Sirh: He is extremely photogenic and I can easily catch him on camera doing the sweetest things! Whether it’s sleeping, cuddling, going crazy with the zoomies.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Sirh: Sometimes I think of them myself and other times I use a mix of inspiration that I’ve seen online before. I try to narrate his account completely from his point of view!

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Sirh: No! Everyone in the dog community is super kind.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Sirh: Take as many pictures and videos as you can! That way you always have content you can end up posting later on.

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Sirh: He is my best friend! We do everything together. I work from home most of the time, so he is a great partner throughout my every day.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Sirh: Sometimes Weller gets a little too excited and starts to hump his toys during photoshoots.

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Sirh: Sharing pictures of Weller and getting advice and inspiration from all of the other dog influencers! Whenever I have a question I know that someone will always have a good answer.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Sirh: Hopefully getting lots of presents from Santa and some brands sending us some toys and treats!
