Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Garachana: Our journey began when we got our two fur-babies, (pomeranians) Mochi & Miu Miu. We got Mochi back in London and Miu Miu here in Valencia, Spain. They are our first two dogs and have become such a huge part of our lives...
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Garachana: I feel that there are a lot of great dog-influencers online! It is such an amazing community to be a part of. I feel that our relatable and laid-back approach is fun but something we want to better and keep working at...
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Garachana: I love looking through Instagram/Pinterest for inspiration. I would say my process for coming up with content comes from focusing on upcoming festivities, trends, and anything relatable/funny...
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Garachana: Thankfully, as of now, no... but that is not to say I have never compared my content or ideas to others. I think this happens to all of us...
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Garachana: Just go for it! I did it because I want to ensure that I am making the most of my time with Mochi and Miu Miu. I want to create lovely memories and experiences with them...
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Garachana: Mochi - two years & Miu Miu - one year
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Garachana: Hahaha, I guess it's the fact that they just pose now naturally for the photos (as if they are professional models hahaha) thanks to the food motivation.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Garachana: Being able to capture their cute moments and share it with like-minded people who love their dogs too.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Garachana: We want to continue to grow @ThePomMomDiaries to be a blog where pawrents can go for tips, lifestyle, and travel advice...
