Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Whipple: Benny is sassy and we love to capture his funny moments. He loves to bathe in the sunshine and enjoy his treats and PupCups. We created an instagram for Benny to share his happy and funny moments with the people around us and online. We hope that Benny gives them a smile and brightens up their day!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Whipple: What sets Benny apart from the others is his unique pattern and sassy attitude. Benny is a miniature piebald dachshund and he has special patterns on his coat. He has a heart shaped spot and one that looks like an apple. Benny is a lazy but very cute pup.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Whipple: To create content we like to put him in cute bandanas and capture him in his natural habits. Him sleeping in the sunshine or playing outside is his most special moments that we like to share.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Whipple: The challenges so far has been keeping up with algorithms. We have dealt with this by doing our best to keep up the content!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Whipple: I would say that is it very important to engage with your fellow dog-influencers!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Whipple: Benny brings much joy to our family and friends. His cute little waddle and happy smiles with his tongue out make all around him adore him.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Whipple: During one of Benny’s photoshoots he started to poop mid picture.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Whipple: Sharing Benny’s happy moments with everyone!
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Whipple: Not sure yet but we will soon be figuring more out!
