Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Rybuck: I originally started sharing my dogs adventures to hold myself accountable for giving them the best life they could have as well as to get me to be active! Just over 2 years later I have fallen in love with the idea of pure adventure, hiking, camping, and exploring the world with my pups!
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Rybuck: I have a mix of daily life, daily tasks, and adventure! I am a paramedic that works shift work but just because I work days and nights doesn’t mean you can’t always be up for an adventure any day of the week!
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Rybuck: I like to post what makes me happy and when I see the dogs happy!! I love to explore the beauty of our province we live in and show it off with the pups! Get out and explore what your world around you has to offer!!
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Rybuck: I have definitely had my posts deemed “stupid and attention seeking” by others but I have ignored hateful comments and continued to show off what I do with my dogs for me and the people who enjoy it!! Don’t stop because someone tells you to
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Rybuck: I think that starting it for the reason to be fulfilled with happiness and adventure has made creating content that much easier and fun to do!! Make creating content fun for you and your pups!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Rybuck: It has made me realize that small adventures can be just as amazing as big adventures!!
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Rybuck: Definitely trying to take photos while the dogs have been swimming and then coming to shake off right infront of me while soaking me in the shake!! Can’t help but laugh
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Rybuck: I love sharing my adventures and products that I truly think help and work in a dogs life!
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Rybuck: Going to be travelling across Canada in the fall! Lots of content to plan!!
