Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Saclayan: It really is an open diary for me to look back on and for others to enjoy and come along on our adventure. My goal when becoming a dog influencer and also opening up a social media account for Peaches was to show us exploring the world together, going on adventures whether its big or small, creating memories and also sharing struggles. This also came along with finding friendship through social media.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Saclayan: I think what sets Peaches apart from other dogs on social media is that although we don't make the best or funniest reels I love to show our adventures and our "first times of something". I loved seeing her smile when we went on our first "out of california trip" and first boat ride. She really has a gets a lot of attention for her smile. She has a very genuine smile and it really exudes from her smile.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Saclayan: Most of our ideas come from our adventures. When editing and creating content I don't have a creative process but I like to stick with something simple such as using the most popular reel sound/song or sometimes even using songs that can relate to our post. Some of my ideas stem from my passion for cooking. I recently have been trying to make dog friendly food from human recipes and am currently in the process of editing.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Saclayan: Thankfully I have not had any negativity or challenges as of now.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Saclayan: I would say have fun with it but make sure to keep yourself sane. It can be very overwhelming when you see other dog influencers have more followers or more likes. But it really is not about all of that. Just make sure you can share and cherish all your memories and have fun!
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Saclayan: Peaches has taught me a lot of patience and showed me a lot of love when I am feeling sad or hurt. She is the best cuddler and is always there for me. She is such a sweet heart and has a lot of love in her heart that she wants to share with everyone.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Saclayan: So this one hasn't been shared yet but on superbowl sunday we woke up early to go on a pack hike. It was quite a steep hike for Peaches and I and at the end as we were hiking back down the mountains we thought it would be smooth sailing. However, after the steep hill hike we also had to cross a very narrow bridge and walk through ankle deep mud just to get back to the parking lot. For a human to walk through ankle deep mud is fine, but for a corgi to do that it looked like she walked out wearing brown pants! This was the most adventurous and most memorable hike for all of us!
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
SaclayanMy favorite thing is that all dog owners can connect in some sort of way. Whether it be a training, feeding or content creating. This is a platform where we can connect and share our adventures, struggles and fun!
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Saclayan: I think our next big thing would be a recipe release as I have gotten Peaches taste test approval on a Lunar New Year dish that I made pup friendly!
