Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.

Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.

Today we got the honor of interviewing Lauren (The DesiLu Crew's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Clark: Honestly, I would not consider us a dog influencer, so I wasn’t surprised by the event. We are pet photographers that do a lot of work with local rescues to photograph shelter dogs and help them put their best paw forward. We try to share photos of adoptable dogs at least once a week, share adventures we go on with our clients and our own pups.

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Clark: We really hope it is our style of photography. We work hard to cultivate a style of photography that is bold and unique. We like to share fun stories of our crew and the pets that we are honored to photograph.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Clark: I wish I could say that I do! But I really post what I feel for that day. Sometimes it is call to action type posts to help get dogs adoptable, sometimes tips to help others take better photos of their dogs, or sometimes it’s just a funny story from a session or adventure with our dogs!

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Clark: For the most part, we have been lucky. We mostly put good vibes out there with our social media and usually receive them in return. The hardest part is sticking with it—the ebbs and flows and figuring out the algorithms are so frustrating. I just want to post pretty pictures of some pups—you know!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Clark: Stay consistent, don’t get discouraged… do as I say not as I do! 😂

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Clark: Not sure that they have. But it cracks me up when the married couple gets recognized in public.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Clark: There are so many, but the best has to be the wedding we staged with Coco and Travis, with our chihuahua Wlton John as the officiant, of course! 😂😂

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Clark: Helping shelters by photographing their adoptable pets—hopefully making a small difference in helping find them a home and reducing the population of shelter pets.

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Clark: We are working on the Friday Foster Feature initiative where we photograph pets that have been in the shelter or foster care for a while in hopes.
