Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.

Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.

Today we got the honor of interviewing Laura (Kona's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Connolly: Honestly, it all started so I had somewhere to share my photos of Kona. He was taking over my own social media pages lol

What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Connolly: He isn’t one specific breed he’s a mix. He’s also a rescue. He’s representing for those that aren’t talked about enough.

How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Connolly: Not really. I film and photograph everything Kona. I’m embarrassed to admit how many photos and videos I have in my album (I had to upgrade my storage because I take so many). We are ambassadors for a few companies so some of our posts are representing them but we like to keep the page specifically about Kona. His life, his adventures etc

Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Connolly: Of course, once your account grows you will always come across a few keyboard warriors that have nothing better to do. I just ignore it and move on. At least they’re still talking about me right!

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Connolly: Enjoy it, don’t take it too seriously. People tend to forget to enjoy their time with their dogs and are only focused on what they can get their dog to do on camera, what pose they can get their dog in etc. Your dog doesn’t care about those things, why should you? Just have fun with your dogs and the rest will happen naturally

How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?

Connolly: Kona is my absolute heart dog. I’ve always had dogs growing up but Kona is my first dog as an adult with my own family. He is very much my third child and I don’t care who disagrees with that. He’s my best friend and I could not imagine my life without him.

Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?

Connolly: As Kona can be reactive to certain dogs, my favourite moments with him on our adventures are when we go to secure fields or woodlands with some of his doggie friends. Getting to see him enjoy some freedom with other dogs that he loves is the best feeling. His girlfriend Mila comes from the same rescue as him and they adore each other

What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Connolly: Getting to know so many wonderful new people. We’ve made some incredible friends through our Instagram journey

Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Connolly: Currently we’re not sure, just continuing to grow and enjoy life is priority right now. But who know what the future holds
