DOGFLUENCERS: Meet Jaxx, Nova and Megan

Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.

Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.

Today we got the honor of interviewing Megan (Jaxx and Nova's Human). You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.

Here is their story:

Fi: Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: We were inspired to share Jaxx and Nova’s adventures through Instagram because we thought showing off their totally different personalities would be fun.

Fi: What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: One thing that sets Jaxx apart from other dogs on social media is his colorful fur! He’s a real-life Lisa Frank Dog. We dye his fur for holidays; he loves going out and showing off! We us all pet-safe, vegan, cruelty-free fur dyes.

Nova is a reactive pup. Reactivity isn’t talked about a lot and we feel like sharing her story on Instagram will allow others to feel more comfortable sharing their stories as well!

Fi: How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: We always think of the setting when taking a picture. If we are doing a product photoshoot we try to match the vibes of the company and take pictures in settings that will compliment their brand!

Fi: Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: The first time we dyed Jaxx’s fur was for Pride Month and we dyed him like a rainbow. Our video went viral on TikTok and there was A LOT of negativity. Thankfully the positive comments outweighed the bad! We ignored the negative comments, and tried to educate those who were genuinely curious about dying their pets safely.

Fi: What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: Create a sense of community with your followers. You can’t expect people to just follow you for cute photos. People want to make friends and connect with other dog people.

Fi: What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: Our favorite thing about being dog influencers is all of the friends we can make! It is so fun to meet people worldwide who have the same love of animals as we do!

Fi: Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?

Jaxx & Nova's Human: We are excited to be partnering with you, Fi! We are cooking up some content ideas for when we get our very first Fi collar!

We hope that Megan's story has inspired you to appreciate your furry friend's unique personality and share it with the world! Being a dog influencer is a fun and rewarding experience, but it's important to prioritize our dogs' health and wellbeing as well.

Remember always to create positive, wholesome content that showcases your dog's individuality. And in the face of negativity, it's important to stand up for fellow dog lovers and keep the community positive.
