Fi: Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
SAGE's Human: I felt like I was bombarding my followers on my personal account so I created a dog Instagram to connect with other dog moms/dads. It has turned into an amazing community where we have made friends, found amazing products & get to support incredible dog-friendly businesses.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
SAGE's Human: We enjoy sharing dog recipes and have tried to create intimate relationships with our community
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
SAGE's Human: I usually create content around the month, whether there are national holidays or local events. Trending audio usually inspires me to create my own version of the trend
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
SAGE's Human: I have not experienced any negativity on social media, but moreso of individuals in society when they find out we have a dog instagram account. Little do they know they are missing out on daily seratonin!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
SAGE's Human: Take the time to be intentional with your relationship building and content creation
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
SAGE's Human: I have never been more physically or emotionally healthy with her by my side. Having my doggo has made me explore local events, restaurants and shops and requires me to get outside daily for exercise. Having Sage has allowed me to create so many relationships in my community!
