Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Wilson: Apollo was rescued as a puppy during the summer of 2022. He began to grow and love his life almost immediately. He never let the hardships or obstacles in the way slow him down. His amazing and brave journey alongside his hilarious personality and goofy faces made me want to start sharing his story on social media.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Wilson: Apollo is very unique, his personality is definitely one of a kind. He is constantly up to something, getting into things and keeping me on our toes and I love to share that with his followers on social media. Apollo is also very beautiful, he has an amazing body build accompanied by a very beautiful coat and sky blue eyes.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Wilson: Apollo usually creates the content for me. He is constantly learning and trying new things on his own that record for content.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Wilson: Not yet, but I’m sure there will be a lot in the future.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Wilson: Continue to post and share your dog not for the likes or follows but for the love of content creation with your dog.
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Wilson: He has given me so much more responsibility than I could have ever imagined. Training him was very difficult which allowed my patience to grow tremendously. Besides teaching me new things he also makes life better in general, he lights up every room he is in.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Wilson: We went for a hike and he would barely stop to let me record anything because he was so ready to explore. I was able to get good pictures and videos but he definitely made it a challenge for me.
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Wilson: Sharing dog positivity with others online.
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Wilson: Continue to grow in following and continue to create great content.
