On Thursday, July 8th, Coconut the husky was shot by a rancher who mistook her for a wolf after she escaped from her half-acre yard. Her Fi smart dog collar caught much of the bullet, saving her life. Coco’s dog mom Carly Kendall was able to track her from her phone using the collar’s GPS tracking, which continued functioning despite the shot, and rush her to the vet before she bled out.
