Welcome to the ultimate destination for dog enthusiasts and social media mavens alike. At Dogfluencers, we're passionate about showcasing the best and brightest in the world of four-legged fame.
Whether you're looking for adorable photos, heartwarming stories, or expert tips on how to turn your own pup into a social media star, we've got you covered.
Today we got the honor of interviewing Molly Rehac. You can find a direct link to their Instagram here.
Here is their story:
Fi: Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Golden Boyripley Human: We started on Tik Tok and just thought it would be fun. Thought if he makes us smile, he can make other people smile. We also moved to IG whenever Fi reached out about sending us a collar!
Fi: What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Golden Boyripley Human: He’s just a goober. I can’t even begin to capture his personality in videos or pictures but it’s one of a kind for sure.
Fi: How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Golden Boyripley Human: A lot of times we just film on walks or when we are out and about etc and do voice overs to show what we did during our day etc. we also travel a lot and take him with us so try and document our travels with him.
Fi: Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Golden Boyripley Human: Not really. I guess you get the occasional person that thinks a dog talking is cringe but they don’t have to follow us :)
Fi: What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Golden Boyripley Human: Just be yourself and capture what makes your dog so awesome! Don’t worry about the fact that there’s already a lot of dogs doing it. In the end, even if we don’t have any followers, I have all that content to look back on to make me happy!
Fi: Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Golden Boyripley Human: We started on Tik Tok and just thought it would be fun. Thought if he makes us smile, he can make other people smile. We moved to IG as well whenever Fi reached out about sending us a collar!
Fi: What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Golden Boyripley Human: We just want to make someone smile
Fi: Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Golden Boyripley Human: We just made it to 5k followers on Tik Tok so we promised Ripley a fun day at the dog pool. He’s currently in negations with his dad for what he will get if he makes it to 10k. It will definitely be something big. We would love LOVE to start working with dog friendly air bnb spots and do some content in exchange for a stay!
Fi: How have you used the info from step, sleep or strain tracking for your dog?
Golden Boyripley Human: We love all the features. Biggest thing is wanting to make sure he hits his step goal. It’s not always possible but definitely if it’s a day we can do it but we are feeling lazy, seeing that number makes us get up and moving! I think it’s good for both of us.
We hope you haven’t had to use the lost dog mode, but if you have, what happened and how did Fi help?
We haven’t THANK GOD. Hopefully we never have to.
Other: We are so thankful to Fi for allowing us to share content and for the collar. It has really helped us keep up with getting our steps in and forces us to try and find new walking spots each week so we
Don’t get bored.
