Here is their story:
Can you tell us about your journey to becoming a dog influencer? What inspired you to start sharing your dog's adventures on social media?
Mendez: This journey started when everyone asked me to take a picture of my dog and people stopping me to pet him.
What do you think sets your dog apart from other dogs on social media? What makes them unique or particularly interesting to your followers?
Mendez: My tiny pom looks like a teddy bear and people think he is not real. I try to post positive thoughts and adventurous moments of Bear around the house, places or when traveling. Followers enjoy to see Bear in action and posing to the camera.
How do you come up with ideas for your dog's posts and content? Do you have a specific creative process?
Mendez: The ideas come every time Bear does something funny.
Have you ever faced any challenges or negativity on social media, and how have you dealt with it?
Mendez: Never, people are very kind with Bear’s content. Some people have sent me messages saying how much they love and enjoy Bear’s page.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own dog influencer account or share their dog on social media?
Mendez: My advice is, be unique and enjoy every moment with your dog. It is not something to make you or your dog stressed or upset, think as a precious moment to share with others. I don’t post or make content to make money I do it for people to feel happy and enjoy Bear’s life.
How has your dog influenced your life outside of social media?
Mendez: Bear is my Service Dog, he has helped me deal with my health conditions and making content to share with others is something that we both enjoy doing.
Can you tell us about a particularly memorable or funny moment you've had with your dog during one of your photo shoots or adventures?
Mendez: We traveled to South Dakota this month of May and when I saw the Buffaloes I said to Bear “this is a picture we need to take and have” it was funny because Bear looked at me like asking…are you serious? The photo and video was really funny but we did it!!! of course, Buffaloes way back and far away from us!
What is your favorite thing about being a dog influencer?
Mendez: Sharing love and happiness with others around the world
Lastly, what's next for you and your dog on social media? Any exciting plans or projects in the works?
Mendez: I really don’t have any plans just enjoy the ride day by day and share a little bit of Bear with others.
